I don't know about that...we drank in loads of places! :P The 'local' was Judge Beans (in Irving) and also the London Pub (home from home) and a place that had floor to ceiling shelves of bottles of drinks - the tallest back bar in the US. Wish I could remember the name of that one, buts its 10 years since I was there...

London gets my vote any time - might move out when I'm an old person and bored of the high life - hee hee!

Ali, are you in the City or West End?

Nope - and don't put me off it either - I'm going to Fort Worth to visit friends in Spring next year!

Jem - my office is in Old Street - right by the tube station and the City Road roundabout. I commute from Bedford, so about an hour door to door each way.

Ali - you are not that far from me then. I'm over Liverpool Street way. Do you commute into Moorgate then? I do! If so, twin cars and twin journeys - spooky!

Hi Jane - OMG! Yes, sometimes I go to Moorgate and walk to the office from there or Midland Mainline into St. Pancras and jump onto the Northern Line for 2 stops. This twin cc will be home tomoz... :D

Dom - How did it go yesterday then? :D

it went very well in fact but i turned the job down... it was to work for apple computer in their new london store in regents street. i couldn't be assured of a permanent position at this stage....

...so the search continues.
