Hi All

To all the higher mileage owners out there. Will the 206cc take high mileage with few problems or will the car prove problematic in the long run?

My 52reg 206cc is approaching 17k and I've no mechanical problems with the car whatsoever so far apart from the squeaking brakes.

Whats the first major service like at 20k?

Just wanting to know if the car will prove reliable in the long run as I plan to keep the car a long time if it is reliable

Thanks
Eddy

I have a 51 reg with 39k on the clock. No major problems just the usual ones you will find here dotted in the forums (squeaky brakes, noisy engine cover etc) All minor faults, my car has never broken down.

02 reg 1.6 with 48k on the clock. runs sweet as a nut. basically your manufacturers warrenty covers anything up to 60k, so sit back & relax, any problems will be for pug to sort out

My "Y" reg 2.0 CC had 63,500 when I sold it.. Those being hard miles..

It was still going strong.. On the same Clutch.. But 5 sets of Front Discs and 7 sets of Pads.. hehehehehe

Must still be OK cos I have had 2 "NIPs" for speeding throught the post in the last couple of days.. Each speeding offence being within 15 minutes of each other  .. Doh, that will be 6 points and a load of dosh for the new owner..
