Saw your posts about Avic X1 got one fitted in my TT and all I can say is get one if you want a top piece of kit. 8) Got mine from dabs .com with autochanger for under £1700

Fitted @ Turners in Sunderland 4 £125 :D totally rocks especially with the Bose sound sys in the Audi

swap the red and yellow wires going into the head unit. peugeot wire em in the other way to everyone else!

Hi all
Sorry, again. Havent had time to take pictures yet etc.
However I got my stalk working with the X1 after Pioneer delivered the correct adapter. (non multiplex car)

I've confirmed at least one minor bug's in the Basic Software of the system.

I find the Beeps when pressing any button very annoying, so I have turning the beep volume all the way down. When turning of the engine, restarting, the beep is back at default level, but the system thinks the beep volume is turned off. This is discussed at http://www.avicx1forums.com./forum/ amongst others.

Cheers Per

Hi all
Recieved a new DVD from Pioneer Denmark yesterday. Compared the original to the new, and it appears a lot of files have changed. The new ones are dated in in april 2004 where as the original files were dated in february 2004. The version is still 1.0.
Hopefully I can test the new Software later today.
Cheers,
