REPLACING LIGHT BULB AFTER CONVERSION

Hello there, I have recently had a front quad head light conversion using the ecosse kit. However, one of my bulbs has now gone and been -

a) female
b) blonde

I have no idea how to get in and change the bulb as it does not seem too clear.

Any help much appreciated.

I don't know about CC's with a light conversion but I changed mine recently and if it's the off side (driver's side) that you need to change, you must remove the washer fluid filler pipe then get at the bulb from the back of the headlight unit. The near side (Passenger side) is easier because there is nothing to remove before you get to the back of the headlight. I'd imagine there will be a plastic flap to remove then the bulb will be held in with a small metal clip. Remove this and the bulb should come out.

Like I said though, I have no experience of the headlamp conversion but I hope my ramblings help a bit

mines went but i got my mate to change it - it took him ages as it was very hard to get the bulb back in

While on the subject of quad conversion and bulbs... would anyone know how to get to the indicator bulbs? I had a quick look the other day, and while it's quite easy to locate the rubber covers for the other bulbs, I couldn't see anything that would give access to the indicator... I would be very annoyed if I have to take everything out just to get to it!

i always thought it looked very hard to get the indicator but when I actually needed to change it, it was very easy.

The indicator is not attached to the housing that the other lights are a part of. If you look a bit closer to the centre of the front, you'll notice a little cap type thing that you twist and the indicator pops out. Or something like that anyway.

Thanks! I can get a pair of silvatec indicator bulbs once I've checked if mine are opposite or offset pins and then it's bye bye to the orange bulbs
