I was just looking at the Channel 4 car site and found some pictures of a 307CC in red being disguised.

What did strike me as odd was that there seems to be a roll cage in it (look at the first picture).

The article also says that 98,000 206CC's were sold last year.

The link does work, I have just tried it again.

The pictures take AGES to load as the site is usually very slow for pictures.

Will try again

Meanwhile here's another review from carpoint.com.au

Don't agree with all they say. I took mine to the racetrack the other week for an advanced driving course and it handled a dream. Stopped in no time, slalomed beautifully and recovered extremely well from understeer and oversteer induced skids (fun fun fun)

If the car in the picture was being raced then it's no great surprise that it's got a roll bar. Too soon to say if the production versions will have one though.

The picture was of secret winter testing, hence why it was covered up etc.. they do't want to give any big secrets away (not that it is hard to imagine what a 307CC will be like)

Thanks Frosty. Gee it gets stuck into your old 306 cab a bit doesn't it!

How have you found the manual shift. Do you agree with their comments about it? I have always driven an auto in the past, so I wouldn't know.

Interesting they said 307 CC possibly in Australia too before the end of next year. Do you reckon that's a bit optimistic?
