Can anyone tell me what the best product is to remove scratches from metallic paintwork.

I used some "T-cut metallic" that's designed for metallic and pearlescent paintwork followed by some polish that was also for metallic paint. Make sure you use a decent cloth as well.

t-cut will remove most light marks on the body work of any car, but it is only a cover up, when the car gets dirty and needs cleaning again you will see the marks again.
There is a product made by t-cut called t-cut colour i find this not only makes the shine better but also keeps the marks away longer.
