Rool bar touches the rear window.... shouldn't do this really should it? the drivers side does, while the passenger has a good 5mm clearance...

Same subject, different problem. On Saturday, the roof made a horrible noise as it disappeared into the boot. I put it back up again and investigated.
The plastic bar in the boot was hanging off and the metal screw had come out - simple put back on job and all sorted. Phew!
It's worth checking that neither screws are loose - doesn't seem to have scratched or damaged anything fortunately.
And the roof is still working fine - though occasionally it doesn't 'bing' when its finished going up or down. Anyone else had that?

Hi Nyk,
Along with the driver's window - sounds like its gonna run out of battery!!
And when the roof finally falls into the boot or back into roof up position - its like it flopping onto a sofa!! Yeah..can't be bothered sums it up!
But we still love our cc's don't we!!

Mine sometimes doesn't "bing" and I mentioned it on this site a few weeks ago and was told that it can be if it's parked on a slight slope. Funnily enough, since I mentioned it on here, it's not happened - shame all the problems don't get solved that way!!! Like you though, I'm still loving the car a ridiculous amount!
