so i got my cc on saturday and as you know it's 18months old. it is in need of a few minor asthetic touch-ups and these will probably set me back £200 tops.

i popped into see a friend of mine at the garage he valets cars at to get the wow-reaction from him. whilst there one of his snobby customers who owns a shitty mercedes was leaning against the car, i didn't want to tell him to get off my car so i just said i was leaving and opened my door and got in. his reaction was "oh sorry, is this your car, it's nice" i said "thanks i picked it up an hour ago" to be even more of a git he then said "yeah but it's a shame about that scratch there"...

and as i drove off i replied "yeah... that's from idiots leaning against it"

made me smile as i drove off with the top down!!!

:D

Must be something to do with Mercedes drivers.

We were on holiday in the Lyndhurst last month and went for a curry. It was a nice day so the hood was down. I put the roof up just outside the curry house. I noticed an old SLK parked three cars down. As we walked in to the curry house I overheard the tail end of a conversation between some snotty older lady and one of the waiters. From what I could make out the waiter had asked the lady if my car was the newer version of her car. Her reply was that it was a cheaper brand or something. I guessed she must have owned the Merc.

Anyway the waiter was dead nice to us all night. The only problem was I couldn’t find my favorite meal so had to explain what I liked and asked if they could cook me something that would comply. Well the main course came and it was excellent. I couldn’t make out what it was. Possibly duck with a wonderful sauce. Later in to meal the waiter comes over all apologetic." I am really sorry sir, but I have given you the wrong meal". "No problem" I said "this is wonderful". He was offering free drinks and stuff, but I said it wasn’t a problem. A little later the snotty lady was walking through the exit and the waiter said, “Hope to see you againâ€

It is definitely Merc drivers!

I work in a building that has several companies in it. There are 2 car parks - the 'Directors' car park (spaces rented to each co as part of the lease) and the 'workers' car park (alot further to walk, pay and display for everyone else).

I've got a space in the 'Directors' car park, 1 of only 4 for our company. I drive in this morning - to find a Merc parked in my space, and a bloke standing beside it on his mobile. I park in my colleagues space and approach this bloke with the mobile. Turns out its his car, so I ask him politely to move it to the other car park, to which he looks down his nose at me, my Pug, scoffs and refuses, questioning why I can't leave mine where it is. (That would really please my CEO!)

So I said fine, let's get the Security Manager to sort it. We both walk into Reception - Sec. Mgr explains, points out that the signpost for visitors car parking and the bloke then agrees to move it - hooray! Am a bit p***d off at this point, as have got prep to do for an interview and am running late now - yep, you guessed it - this guy in the Merc is the bloke I am interviewing! He went a little red when I introduced myself!

Has the right skills and experience for the job - but his attitude would definitely be a problem - he didn't even apologise.

Why are you shocked?

We didn't say it was ALL Merc drivers...after all, my Dad is one of those too!
