Why do the pug monkeys have trouble fixing my alarm when I have taken it back 4 times and even told them exactly what the problem is???! When I switch the ultrasonic sensors off it works fine, but when I leave it on the alarm keeps going off - which would indicate to me (and also another pug garage, which I can't take it to because they are not accepting out of warranty cars 'cause they are too busy) that the current internal sensors needing replacing. Everytime I take it to the garage they say they have "adjusted" the sensors, and it's exactly the same as before! Yesterday I took it back, for the 4th time, and they "reconfigured" the sensors - and now the internal sensors do not work at all!!!!

I'll be paying them a 5th visit tomorrow.......

Must say I wasn't too happy to read this post. Was just thinking of getting the Peugeot alarm for my car.

Has anybody else got one of these things? If so, are you happy with it?

Has anybody got an after market alarm installed in the car? If so, did Multiplex cause any problems with the installation?
Cheers,
Michael

The other inference I drew was that Peugeot must be having a lot of trouble with new cars (or cars that are still within the warranty period) if they are too busy to look at cars that are out of warranty.

I have a factoy fit alarm and have never had any problems with it. It sounds like you should take it to another dealer to see if they can fix it :(
