Just got back into my car after stopping for a couple of minutes to get a can of pop and when i turned on the ignition, got the message "Engine Immobiliser Fault". Car started ok...is this just a crazy glitch or is the car warning me not to get too smug cus i ain't had any problems yet (3 months and counting)?? ??: ??: ??:

don't get too worried if your CC started. i got that quite often with my 1st CC and it always took about 6 attempts to start it - what a quality car that was

Nothing to worry about. I have it as well.It usually occurs if u turn on the engine immediately and do not wait for 4 secs for the panel indication lights to go off first. Our lovely CCs just do that in order to keep the relationship hot! Ho Ho..
