Was making my dinner tonight. The handle came off the oven door and the sheet of glass (which is full size of oven door) fell and landed on my big toe. I was standing in my bare feet. I think is just severe bruising, im not sure if ive broken anything...

Lets say i cried for hours. Then pain is excruciating. The swelling has went down cos ive sat with my foot in cold water for hours now ive got ice on it. Can hardly walk.

There were 3 loose screws on oven door as its just a small lip on the handle that holds the glass on.

I couldnt drive last night. But i've just dropped the CC off at Motorway cars for its 3 yr/30k mile service.

Not sure if its broken. How can you tell if your toe is broken or just badly bruised? well it is bruised cos i can see that, just its constant pain.

I'm no doctor but I think there is not a lot they can do for broken toes anyway.

Perhaps just wear flip flops until the welling goes down.
;)

That and let alcohol numb the pain

Car has been at Motorway cars since 7.15am and i've never heard a peep from them... no news is good news, so they say!!

Glad to hear your foots not broken.

In my experience no news from the garage usually means they've either forgotten to phone you or they've forgotten to look at your car! ;)

I was surprisingly calm, but they knew I was NOT a happy bunny.

anyways got to motorway cars at 9.55 and was home for 10.20 with dent all taken out! So im all happy again!!

Was out last night so shouldnt have been driving anywhere, but i took one of my brothers tablet thingys, they're great. Milk Thistle they're called, they're herbal, anyways you dont get a hangover with them. Actually felt good this morning.

Where do you get those Milk things from? Works night out tonight and I could do with not loosing half my Saturday.

Good news on the car... still a disgrace. I picked up my brand new on with a scratch down, which I am sure they knew about.
