Saw a Silver/red leather 2.0SE parked outside the control tower at Paderborn airport at the weekend on German plates. Noticed that the front headlights had bumper mounted washers and wondered why i had never seen this option?
Also had a good look at the windstop that was fitted as it was the first time i had seen one "in the flesh" and noticed it didn't sit completely flush on the back edge. There was a gap of about half an inch all round between the back of the windstop and the back of the rear seats. Was it just badly fitted?

Headlight washers are standard equipment in Norway. One of these small things that not are the same all over the world...

Sounds like the windstop was badly fitted, not tightened up enough, there are no gaps around mine.

Yep, no gaps round mine either, it's nice and snug.

It should be a snug fit around the back and sides. The fit to the seats in front depends how far back they're positioned.
Instructions for adjusting the fit come with the windstop.

headwashers are also standard on cc's in denmark.
i believe that in germany it's an option (and part of a "winter pack")

Don't belive you get them on the UK spec CC's (I haven't) but I think the 206GT had them.
Incidentally which handbook have you got?
