Hi Folks,

I'm hoping someone out there can help me out here

My colleague has just bought an R reg 306 TurboD but she can't locate the ciggy lighter anyway to plug her mobile hands free kit in..

Anyone any ideas?!?!?

:blush-thx:

I'm not sure on older cars, but on newer 306s the cig lighter is oin front of the gearstick on the control panel (where the hazards are).

This is odd then as we popped down to check at lunchtime and there are buttons for hazards, fogs and rear windscreen and then a spare button which we are assuming it should have a ciggy lighter in it.. looks like they forgot it!!!

I had an L reg 306 and you had to open the ashtray to get at the ciggy lighter.

Some cars these days can be specced with or without the "smoker's pack", which I assume is a fag lighter and an ashtray.

Always seemed lunacy to me to spec without -- how else to power the mobile phone/radar detector/GPS/etc?

Thanks Guys - my colleague was scrabbling around in the car last night and found the ashtray which is apparently very well hidden.. in the ashtray was the ciggy lighter!!
