Should I dump my CC for a Clio 172?

For a Change:
63,000 Miles
Out of Warranty
Gonna Start Costing me Money
172 is Quicker

Against a Change:
Will miss the Roof
Looks
Money I have spent on Mods! :?

Dunno What to DO!!!

You will have to do what your heart tells you to do.

I went thru the same thing a few weeks ago. Should I swap my Puma for a cc? Everyone said to keep the Puma but in the end I thought bu**er it and went for the cc.

So far so good.

Im not keen on clio's (which is my own taste!) everyone is getting clio's at the moment, they're almost as popluar as fiesta's!

Whats up with your roof Derek? I've not had any problems with mines, yet. touch wood! Ive got a problem with my door and my car isn't ticking over very well. Its going into Motorway cars soon, booking it in on Tues.

do yourself a favour tracey and steer clear of motorway cars if it's going into the bodyshop - the service dept is generally ok.

never had a problem with the roof until about 4 weeks ago when it went it to get a creaking noise fixed from the catch on the drivers side. they phoned to say the roof wouldn't go down  turns out they didn't know you had to pull the safety blind over

anyway it would appear they messed about with the mechanism inside the boot, they denied it but they left evidence which i took photos of. got it back, washed it, put the roof down and it wouldn't go back up. took it in next day and they supposedly fixed it. put it down a few days later - wouldn't go back up  they then got it for 3 days and supposedly fixed it. (think thats when u saw it there). put roof down today, drove 1/4 mile and roof alarm starts sounding again - no surprise to learn it couldn't go back up - i will be phoning them on monday morning and if they don't fix the fault they created this time i will be writing to peugeot - not that they are much better.

i'm ready to sell the car but it's annoying as i had decided to keep it until next march after nealy selling it for a 307CC.
