just to clarify who is going to Blackpool on Saturday 17th April, please post below and state if you are staying overnight - we can then look at booking accommodation. no excuses as I am doing a near 400 miles round trip

Go straight across round about at end of M55 go 2 miles approx 1st carpark on left

all motorway - m1 then er m62 innit then m60 then m55 (will have to put the route in autoroute as i haven't been to blackpool for a while

Is dead easy to find the meeting place... basically M55 to the end, then just straight on at every roundabout. Follow the "brown signs" for Blackpool Tower / Pleasure Beach / Parking and you end up on Yeadon Way [road]. This road has a concrete barrier on each side of it - after a while you come to a BP (I think) garage & TravelInn on the left - there is a huge pay & display carpark here. I guess this is the meeting point.

If my memory serves me right, this carpark is a rip-off if you want to stay in it for any length of time. The Pleasure Beach carparks all charge Â£5 for the whole day - and they are "manned" so makes it harder for any gits to vandalise our CC's.

Now I know it's the 17th....

Attending - more than likely.
Stopping over - probably.

hmmm not sure im going that route.... I'll check the map, coz i think from where i am it should be uicker to go m62-m6-m55 but i'll check and let you know

Hi everyone. I will be going to Blackpool via the M606, M62, M60, M61, M6, and the M55.
I will be setting off at 9 am and should be passing Hartshead moor services at around 9:15 if anyone is interested in forming a mini convoy.
