Correct me if I'm wrong but...the 2.0 SE comes with the following as standard:
- sports pack
- 16'' alloys
- automatic headlights (Nov 01 model)
- automatic wipers (Nov 01 model)
- oval exhaust
- side airbags
- a 2.0l engine
When you buy the SE you don't get the alloy wheels, the oval exhaust, the automatic headlights or the automatic wipers

the mesh grille is an option but makes a big difference to the front of the car. also consider wheel arch extensions as they also make the car look better - i think so anyway
my pics are at owner 135 if you want to take a look.

There do seem to be some 1.6's masquerading as 2.0's, the first place I look is the tailpipe - I'd definately get that swapped out or go for a Janspeed like Lyndons - looks fantastic and fits that bumper cut-out alot better.

Yep, I always look for the tell tale 2 litre SE flat tailpipe, then the 2 litre SE alloys and if I can, the white dial instruments pod just to make sure its a gen.
Hope people don't mind me asking but why spend quite a lot of money on SE accessories to make the Pug look like a 2 litre - when you can buy a 2 litre SE for a little extra cost and have that extra vavavoom under the bonnet? (insurance reasons accepted of course).
NB. It seems strange why Peugeot hadn't brought an automatic out for the 2 litre, I'm sure there would be takers.
Robbie.

if the 2 litre had been available with an automatic, i would have snapped it up. i'm happy with the 1.6 but am a tad resentful that
a) getting extras to spec up the 1.6 has made it more expensive than just buying the 2 litre!
b) peugeot have changed the damned spec since i bought it, anyway.
ah well. i suppose there's a cloud to every silver lining...
