What is that plastic blobby thing (technical I know) that is on the under side of the passenger side wing mirror.
I thought for days that it was a rain drop but then I stopped and found that it is the plastic on the mirror.
What's that all about then?

That bobble on the wing mirror is the outside temperature sensor.

Thanks for that.
And to think that I was trying to drive faster so that it would fall off.

I'm so glad I joined this website, you find out the most wonderful things. I too thought I'd missed a bit when cleaning the car.

Soooo bizarre, and weird that this item has been put on here today.......I too saw the little blob this morning for the first time and thought it was a raindrop and wondered why it hadn't come off.
U learn something new everyday !!!!!
Anyone know how accurate it is....I was out yesterday in the sunshine and it said 24 C - surely not !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I wondered that and if I should get a Standley knife to cut it off!!
I also nearly got caught in a car park looking a someone else's wing mirror to see if it was the same as mine.

Until I read all these postings, I hadn't even noticed it - oops! Hee hee!
Had roof down Sunday - passed about five other CCs and all had the roof up - they obviously don't belong to this club!
