Is it me or is the cc handbook bloomin' awful.

Anyway.... what is the MPH reading on the new style display meant to be?

Logic would tell me that this is meant to display your exact speed. Mine seems to records anything it likes but it certainly bears little resemblence to the speed that I am doing.

I think it's how many miles per gallon you are getting not miles per hour. i.e. when I'm idling it says I'm getting over 100mpg.

I think I understand the MPG bit it is just this MPH I don't get. It's the reading before the date.

You will find that the reading is how many MPG you are getting for your MPH.
If you change your driving style, for example high revs the reading will be low, if you keep the revs low (2000) the reading will go up But this has no connection with the MPG you will be getting.
My driving style has changed (keeping to 2000 revs) and i still only get around 25MPG.
The computer readings dont add up

They're both in the same place. You press the indicator in to get it to change to the next option i.e. average mileage, total miles, miles left to next fill up with petrol. Or are you talking about something else?

It's average speed since the last reset.

Good one Carl. That's solved that one. Thought I was going mad.

I am right in thinking that the handbook is worse than useless on this..... or have I totally lost the plot?
