I ordered my new cc on Sunday but it needed CD changer fitting, parking sensors added, number plate transferred and GPS for ipaq sat nav hard wired.

It's all done and waiting for me except............... I have to wait for the funds from my AA loan to hit my bank account. This is like torture.

I know I should get it by next Wednesday but the wait is killing me.

oooh Parking sensors! 8)

Are these ones your fitting yourself or some kinda Peugeot extra's? I did buy some a few months ago, but they were huge ugly things, couldn't possibly stick them on my lovely car!

Is this a dealer-fitted CD changer? I was supposed to have one of these fitted in the glove compartment for pickup on 1 March, but they didn't have stock of the bracket. Two weeks later they said that they had a bracket, took the car in, and they said that it wasn't the right bracket. Almost a month down the line and I'm still without a dealer-fitted CD changer :(

Apparently they're trying to find out the right part number from France now...

Congrats for next Wed, Bif !

I well know where you're at. My own torture ended 8 weeks ago with the delivery of mine !

Don't worry - you'll heal nicely with no scars. At eight weeks, I can say it's all just a vague memory now. And the car is worth the wait.

This must be what child birth is like ???
Cheers,
Michael

UPDATE

AA delivering a chq made out to the garage tomorrow morning and I am picking the car up tomorrow afternoon.

The garage have been brilliant. I got the 1.6 Allure for £13,800 and they have done all extras at little more than cost.

I have yet to see if finished but I am led to believe that the parking sensors are just like on my current Puma. Two tiny body coloured circles.

Also they have said that the CD changer is a Sony one under the passenger seat. They have assured me that it works ok with "stalky" thing.

:D :D :D :D

Great news - hope you enjoy the car (is worth the wait - I only had to wait 2 weeks, but it was a long 2 weeks) hope you've got a "good" one that does not leak!

Got my CC back from the Zoo today & I actually want it to rain now so I can see if theyhave fixed the leak on the roof. Once I know it's all fixed, months of sunshine will be fine thanks :)

If the Sony CD changer the garage have fitted works OK with the steering column stalk, please can you post the model number of the Sony unit here - or PM it to me? That is the one thing I thought I wouldn't miss from my 206 GTi... the CD changer.

My Puma is all cleaned out and I am sad to see if go as I did "tonk" it all the way home on the country roads but I am very excited about tomorrow.

I just hope the bu**er does't leak. I am also a bit worried about this CD changer but I will let you know.

Also a bit worried about the GPS receiver thru the windscreen but the garage have said if it doesn't work with my Ipaq then they will redo it. Can't say fairer than that as they did it for free.

You watch it piss it down tomorrow.

Daren't tell Puma lot that I have defected. Must say tho' that some of them are up their own ..... Sorry Rob but some really are.

Has anyone got any sleeping tablets. I'm too excited.

I love this car :D :D :D

I have had the roof down and I really really love it. It was odd to see if shake so much with the roof down but then it is my first convertible.

The CD changer works a dream. It is a Sony CDX-T69 and it is under the passengers seat so that I access it from behind the seat and not from the front like some cars.

The parking sensors and brill. Fully body coloured and aswell as the usual blips I also have a red flashing light on the dash. The seem to work perfectlly.

The GPS system is also working. I was told this would not happen cos of the special heat reflective windscreen. I have a cheap as chips receiver and it works perfectly positioned in the bottom right hand corner of the windscreen.

They day has only been spoilt by there being a few scratches on the car. I only noticed these after I have picked it up and the garage have said they will sort them.

It is very different to drive from the Puma but so far so bloody good.

Congratulations on ur purchase !!

I still miss my Puma a little bit, but the posability in my CC has out wayed everything I miss.

Must b a Peugeot thing, mine had a tiny dent in the drivers door when I picked her up, barely noticeable but they're gonna sort it out, even though the sales manager tried to accuse me of doing it...the cheeky swine !!!!

I've had the roof off today although it's not been the warmest of days.....but it had to be done.

Enjoy

How the hell did you manage to get it for that price? Who's the dealer?

Thanks
