Badges on Allure

I have just ordered my new 1.6 allure cc and I have seen somewhere on the forums some reference to the allures having a badge.

As anyone got any details on what these are like and where they are?

I'm not really a great fan of badges and I would prefer any funny looking ones to be removed before I pick it up.

I picked up my Allure beginning of Feb and it didnt come with the Allure badge on the side ! You may be lucky !!

Got my 2ltr allure in March came with badges down both sides; they're only small, look OK.

Must be pot luck if you get the badges - I got my 2.0 Allure early March & no badges on it (not that I'm complaining.)

Love the car - shame it started to leak today

Trip to the Zoo to get it looked at / fixed tomorrow afternoon.

Are your cars main dealer or import, that might make a difference!

Mine is also a main dealer, but my mine is in the body shop as we speak as there is 7 problems inc leaks and 2 panels out of alignment and also has an amazing 24 paint defects !!! I pressing towards rejecting the car and going for a new one. Only had it since Feb !!!

I have them too, but dont see many around with them on.
When i got my car i pointed out to the dealer that the car had the badges on, and that i had not see many with the badge on and he said that you can have them removed.
I think that you will find that many have them removed because is shows that you paid less for the spec of car that you have.
I dont care who knows that i got a good deal and others paid more for there cars.
Maybe it will show when it comes to selling your cars, when people start to ask where the badge is when the car is marked up as a Allure.

I have just checked with dealer and mine will not have any one when I pick it up.... I bet he's just gone out to take them off!
