driving home tonight just past motherwell and some b****** must have threw a stone or brick at my car

luckily it only hit the windscreen and not the bodywork but it made some noise.

anyway, need a new windscreen. is the windscreen unique to the CC ? just wanting to know for when i call the insurance co. tomorrow so they don't bring the wrong screen.

insurance will be ok as you only pay £60 excess or something. just lucky it hit the window only so there is no bodywork damage.

no idea where it came from as i was just driving along and heard a loud bang and thought i saw something bounce off the windscreen. the screen is cracked with large circles and luckily never caved in or i would probably have crashed. u can see two marks on the glass from whatever hit it.

In Finland all 2litres-versions come with "unique" windscreen. It's reflectes heat radiation (don't know better world in english). So the car wouldn't be so hot inside when you have this kind of windscreen. Don't know if cars in England come as standard with this kind of windscreen. Hope this helped

The windscreen is unique to the CC Derek..

Be sure that they bring the "Athermic" screen with the reflective coating and not a cheap Non Peugeot Copy..

Not only that but the glass actually supplies a fair bit of body stiffness so it needs to fitted/bonded correctly

condition submit to the domination of the English.

alone, which no good man gives up except with his life. Arbroath 1320
