HI people
i just started having this problem.
and it has been happening once per day for the past 3 days
when i try to start the car, the starter works fine, but the engine won't fire. almost as if there is no fuel. but there is plenty!!!
all other electrical system works fine.
tonight it just happened again in a covered carpark and the towing service couldn't get to me. but as with what happened in the previous 2 occasions, the car works fine after being left alone for an undetermined length of time
Help

thanks

does it always fail to start in the same place you leave the car ??

if so it might be a strong signal from a large antenna or similar blocking the signal. only a guess tho, had this trouble when trying to lock my CC using the keyfob and found it only happened in one place :?

Ops.
it actually sounds more like fuel is not getting to the engine.
wondering if it is choked throttle butterfly (just read post on the sluggishness problem which my car had as well)

will look at it later

I've the exact same problem happen to me twice last year. One in my own garage so I don't think it's location related. It too sounded as it fuel wasn't getting to the engine (but i'm no expert). After about 5 minutes it started, I think I remember a relay clicking off then it was OK.

I'd love to know what is causing it. :?
I have a 1.6 model.

yeah!
i heard that too
that's why i thought it was a fuel line cut off. hence was wonder if our car's immonbilisation system is just electrical or fuel line?

kao

Have you tried the software update from your local Peugeot dealer?
