hi, everyone, very surprised to find this website, and very pleased to find it as well. I am looking into buying a 206cc, but I would like to find out more about the car before I make the decision. Instead of going through all the messages posted on the forum page, is there somewhere I can find some sort of reviews, problems, pros, cons....... on 206cc on this website? As I am buying a second hand one, is there any tips that I should know?
Thanks very much in anticipation. I hope I can be a part of this big family here.

Welcome
I really think the best option is to take a look at the posts in the problems section. I've had my CC for 2 years and have had a few issues (leak, squeeky brakes) all of hich have been addressed under warranty.
In buying your CC are you going through a dealer? If so then you will get a warranty on it. If purchasing privately the best thing you can do is get a RACV check and also scrutinise the service books.
Good luck

I've just had my 10,000km checkup and the only problems were the paint coming off the roof switch and squeaky brakes. The dealer replaced the roof switch and fitted new different brake pads which they say have been out for 8 months. I also had a minor issue with the roof micro switches when I first got ther car ...no beep which was fixed.
It's a great little car.

The only issues I have had is a drivers door that doesn't want to close properly (no leaks though) and a squeaky right front brake. I ended up having the dics machined and the problem went away. I suspect possibly a bad batch of discs may have come out of the factory, as I had the pads changed and it didn't solve the problem.
Have a chat to Paul at AutoParis in Boxhill. Ph. 9890-8822 He is very helpful with information, and may know someone who has a CC they want to sell. He has lots of tasty bits if you are that way inclined.
I suggest when you find one, have Paul look it over for you.

Thanks guys for your reply. Guess what, I have bought the car, silver, 206cc, 2003!!!!!!for the last few days, I was busy organising my finance and all the paper work, I am picking up the car on Friday. I can't wait!!!!!
It seems that my car also has the same problem with the brake, which I noticed while I was test driving it, I have already told the dealer about that, and hopefully that will be fixed when I pick her up.
Once I get hold of it, I will get myself registered on this site properly. I am very happy to be part of this huge family.
Thanks again!!!
