Hello to everyone. I was wondering what is the benefit in putting a devil exhaust. I 've seen and i know that it looks more aggressive and bigger, but anything more than that? Is it altering the sound, the fuel consumption, or the horse power of the engine?

Original exhausts (because they need to keep noise and fuel consumption levels down) muffle the exhaust gases coming out but performance exhaust allow the exhaust to flow through the system more freely. By allowing the flow to be more free (increasing the exit velocity and laminer as opposed to turbulent flow) the fuel air mixture going INTO the engine can be burned quicker giving increased performance but also reduced fuel economy.
By combining this with an aftermarket air-filter (see note on K&N panel filters) this can give increase performance of usually around 5% (not sure about fuel economy but it does go down). The same principal also applies to the devil exhaust manifold by increasing the flow velocity and reducing the turbulence of the exhaust gases.
Alternatively if people are interested in increasing the performance of the exhaust without buying a whole new system you can buy cheap paints or exhaust pipe insulating cloth that covers the system. This increases the temperature of the exhaust gases and hotter gases flow faster (rally teams use this principle to get more power out of the engine).
In summary: Fast exhaust gases out means fast fuel/air mixture in and more bhp!
