Does your boot rub the roof when opened?

I opened the boot for the first time today (!) and noticed that a rubber seal rubs the roof on the right hand slide, but clears it by 2mm on the left. Anyone elses like this?

I haven't had a problem with mine rubbing.
When you are passing your dealer - ask them to have a look at it.

When I first took delivery of my car I asked them to open the boot for me with the roof down. They couldn't - it wouldn't budge. The plastic panel behind the roll hoops wasn't manoevering as required. Only took a couple of minutes back in the workshop - the panel on mine was bent so they swapped it for one off one of the demos

I'd certainly query it when you're next passing.

You guessed it my old shed does the same thing but on the left hand side.

This has developed on mine and got worse over time by closing the lefthand roof clip first.

I am not bother as it will only be here for another 114 days. Take it back and see if the roof can be realigned. In some cases you may be lucky and find it is only the boot lid that needs realigning.

yes.. the demo car i drove did, and that is one of the things im going to look for when i get my car
