But apparently there's a problem with the calipers as well?

I now want to know if those of you who have posted about this matter would be willing to email me with:-
1. How you managed to get Peugeot to change their minds and your brakes ?
2. If you will give me permission to use the emails to back up what I said about the 6 month/6,00 miles being a load of cr*p?

I am a blonde too........but far from dumb..... :D

I'll have a look for my letter to and from Peugeot UK - I can't remember if the letter confirmed they'd change the brake pads or whether it generally stated they'd fix ALL of my problems. Either way I'm quite happy for you to quote my case and I'll dig out the relevant info over the weekend (or maybe tomorrow if the snow continues and I'm off work  )

I have emailed Pug twice and they haven't bothered to reply. I'll keep at it and hope I get somewhere with them. Aren't they an ignorant lot.....allegedly......in my opinion................I think (Just covering my back in case they read this and have grounds for prosecution!!!)

I got fobbed off by Athelston (Cirencester) quoting the 6k rule, Mine is 15 months old and 17k

However my brakes have always squeaked and are really irritating me at the moment, so much so that I am considering upgrading, but would prefer none pug pads!

If you do get any joy with Glos / Oxon pug regarding brakes let me know!

My Nov 2003 registered 53 plate CC had squeaky brakes after 1000 miles.

It's now done 3500 miles so I took it into the dealer and they replaced the front pads with new ones. Apparently they had received a service update from Peugeot saying that they should be replaced with a new type of pad. The rears still squeak a little but they're no way as bad as the fronts were. I sounded like a london taxi!!
