personally I'm not too keen on the looks of the convertible especially with the hood up. It's a bit like the tt roadster, it looks like an afterthought and they just cut off the roof :( and also, after the commodity of a folding roof, i don't think i'll ever go back to a fabric hood :)

Nice car. I'd have one if family circumstances allowed. Think it might be the RX8 next, though.

Btw. what are you thinking about Nissan's interior comparing to cc?
I think those buttons looked too much like old nissan sunnys, primeras and so on ones. Was it at TopGear where they laughed z's interior, i mean building quality. So what's it like? Are there any squeaky sounds?

for me it's no problem. I think the CC or French car is not much difference in Japanese car quality. So far my car got no squeaking sound. Washing is kinda trouble ;) especially under the door side step, but it's easy to solve the problem anyway ;)

The top Gear review is badly manner i think. Especially Jeremy who just dislike 350Z so much and he prefer RX8 just because the 2+2 Seater.
But of course i don't hate RX8, i do like em. It's just the Engine have power but no Torque. The car already drinking the fuel tank like drinking a beer out of the barrel and that with only one passanger. What will happen if you put a full passanger, say like 2 adults 2 children or 4 adults. The car will lose performance because the lack of Torque and drink more fuel. Also the Engine modification have the limitation because the Engine compartment is too small to put Twin Turbo Setup. But this is just my final opinion that make me choose 350Z from RX8. Of another thing about RX8 ;) the Mazda dealer in Australia is SUX :D

as for 350Z was build to be a traditional sport car, such as Ferrari, porsche which is two seater sport car. But of course for their interior quality you must pay the price. As for 350Z it's cheap but the performance it's more than enough to satisfy you, but please don't compare with Any Turbo car ;) which turn slower or suffer from Turbo Lags :)

Hope this pretty much explain your question :)

I got a base model (the GT pack here in europe includes heated electric leather seats, bose stereo, apparently not worth the extra $$$ and cruise control which I'll never use anyway and it's 2500 pounds extra) I'll subsequently get a custom leather interior which you can get in the region of 500-800 pounds, and that's all that matters really. Base stereo still has 6 cd in dash changer and 4 speakers so it's plenty for my tastes.
