ok before i get any funny answers here i just want to ask phone users where they keep their phone in 206cc on a holder or elsewhere and if you use the car charger how do you run the lead to the phone without lead going all over the shop also if you mounted a holder how do you stick it on to the dash

I've just got a phone holder that sticks on the dash.

If you look here
http://www.m-of-h.co.uk/Car/images/DSCN2472_jpg.jpg
you can see the silvery thing jsut to the right of the dash above the air vent.

Its stuck on with a sticky pad - the unit was from halfords.

sorry - no closer pics at the mo - will take some for you - possibly tonight if I remember. Power lead wouldnt be too hard to run - up the side where the door seal is and then across fo an inch or so into the holder.

What you need is an Ericsson T68 - you can get a handsfree kit for it which has no cables, which means that your phone can be in the boot and you can still answer it!! The handsfree headset comes in silver which matches my 206cc perfectly!!

I don't have a holder.

I plug the charger in, loop the cord around the gearstick and the rest the phone in the dimple under the handbrake.

Tucks nicely out of the way there, doesn't snag anything and, when I park up and put the handbrake on, I remember the phone! (as long as I remember the handbrake )

My 3310 sits nicely in front of the electronic display, to the left of the hazard light/central locking switch. The curvature of this bit of the console stops it sliding about and the charger wire goes neatly up from the cigar lighter

but at least you can see the display (nearly) when it rings if it's behind the ashtray

The post-Nov01 spec cars have a split switch on the dash instead of the sole hazard light switch. One half is the hazards, the other half locks/unlocks the doors AFAIK.
