Has anyone had the problem we have here? On leaving the car, after turning off everything and pulling the key out, sometimes a warning beep keeps sounding. This means the door won't lock using the remote, and you need to manually lock the doors using the key. This seems to cure the problem. It happens every week or two. Could be a faulty circuit board, but I don't know what the beep refers to! Any ideas??

I had same problem once also after that my car didn't start. If the warning beeps are the same like when you leave your key in ignition and open the door, the key removing has not been recognised. New software update for BSI will fix this problem. (Well, mine did ;) )

I just had this on mine, 1st time :( On opening the door after switching off, the warning beeper started (same tone as if you try and open the roof with the catches shut). Couldn't lock with the plip, only the key. Restarted engine and stopped, still same. When does this go away?

I would take it back to Pug for the new software service pack but you never know what bugs the new one will cause!
