The new Dell Axim looks good (and cheap), but unlike the old one it doesn't take CF :(

What about an Xda? Or the new Xda II? It's also a GPRS phone, it's got BlueTooth, got a camera, you can surf and email, music and you can add trick stuff to it like Sat Nav :D :D :D No, I don't have one :(

Dunno how much they cost though, few hundred quid I'd imagine, and you'd have to pay a tariff for data usage (plus more if you want to use it as a phone, pay monthly only I think?) although you might be able to get an Xda cheaper (it's got less memory than the Xda 2 and the battery's not removable like in the new one) www.o2.co.uk for info

You could try the SPV E200, my husband had the original SPV and has just upgraded to the E200, he loves it.

The SPV is a pda and phone all rolled into one!

HP 2210 is great...... mine arrived Christmas day. Not found any major flaws but I,ve not had a PDA before. XDA II good my boss has one great if you use a have many contacts you need to phone or need emails on the move but if you have a blue tooth phone you can sync your phone and pda contact list and use the phone as internet modem. XDA not so great as only availabe on O2 with there crap customer service.

Lyndon,

I too have a Hp 2210. I originally had a Hp Jornada 568 but it got smashed so got replaced by way of insurance.

It's a cracking PDA, one of the best of the Pocket PC o/s type IMO. It's not bulky like the larger ipaq's and has a CF and SD slots, and it does the job a treat. I use it for Sat nav in the car (as I did with my old PDA), blue tooth sync to my phone, mp3 player and of course as a general pda.
You need the speed of the current chip, it's faster (than my old 568) but this is only noticable when running large programs, like the Sat-Nav, where the extra speed is appreciated.

As for the XDA's, the people who I've known with one have not liked the phone and internet integration complaining that the signal coverage was very poor, especially for the internet. ie. they are fine as PDA's but not good as phones, so not really worth the extra cost of the subscription.

Hope this helps

I bought the HP IPAQ 4150 last week. I did go with the intentions of buying a 5550 but seeing as they have been discontinued and expensive, I gave it a miss.

The 4150 is better anyway, cheaper although it only has 64mb and no Bio finger print thing (who needs it anyway) compared to the 5550.
4150 with wifi, bluetooth (no antennas) it's top!

The 4150 has everthing but CF I believe. But thats no problem becuase expansion is still possible in everyway.

Chris.

P.s I received the stickers! thanks Lyndon.
