Found a website (all in french sadly) that has pictures on the 206 CC Roland Garros model, 206 CC 5 door (?!), 206 CC with glass inserts into roof (for open top feeling when raining!) and 307 CC.

Visit: http://newi.brinkster.net/club/ for details on all these, click on 'galerie' then images for all the pictures on 206 CC or on 307 CC for details and pictures on that.

Excellent find that spent a while checking them out! Don't like the look of the 5 dr but the glass roof is a cool idea, unsure how it would look in real life though!?
Thanks

I don't think there's anything new there.

The glass roof was prototyped over a year ago but there's been no news since. Similarly, the 307cc has been on the cards almost as soon as the 307 was announced but again, no new news.

The 307cc is definitely going into production !!! The glass roof is a prototype by Heuliez, the manufacturer of our roof. Has been investigated by Peugeot and decided not to start production...

(as read on the German forum)

The Peugeot 307 CC is scheduled to start production early October 2002 (just prior to the world premiere at the International Motor show in Birmingham) in order to create enough supply for the expected demand after the show. Also, expect to see a 'concept' 4x4 5 door version of the 206 SW - i'm reliabily informed that this car is as much of a concept as both the 206 & 307 SW models were when previewed at Geneva. Finally, my district manager has stated that the 206 CC 5 door will not reach production and WAS just a concept at Villerverde opening outside paris, she does say that the 307 CC 5 door has not been ruled out though! The replacement for the 206, the very cleverly named 207, is due for release in late 2006 (hatchback form) with 207 CC and SW and 4 x4 models to follow some two years after! For those that are interested, the recently pictured 206 CC in 'gold' will enter production as Sahara Yellow in June 2002. The replacement for Cherry Red, the darker Flamenco Red (still a solid colour) and 2 new colours, Onyx Black (pearlescent) and Egyptian Red or Diablo Red (still to be decided on which one) will all enter production late July/early august. Phew!

Peugeot have hinted that in order not to 'snatch' volume sales from sister company Shitroen, the 207 will be released early 2006, which may cross to 2005 (although we all know what Peugeot and launching a product are like)!

The 306 Cabriolet has been confirmed that production will finish on 30th of this month, so the 307 CC could be here sooner than we think (it's normally 4 months from end of production to introduction of replacement model), so October looks preety definate (the same time of year as the 206 CC was launched in 2000).

Any word on what it will retail at? The 307 is catching on slowly but it still looks ugly to me compared to the 206, not sure what the appeal will be unless its cheap!
