Best Head Units?

Going to buy a new head unit. I am pretty new at this sort of thing :rolleyes: and would like you guys to suggest what are the best around and what I should be looking for. Any web sites that you know of with good deals and the latest equipment would be quality.

It depends on your budget greatly. If you want fantastic quality then look at Nakamichi (http://www.caraudiodirect.co.uk/product ... ts_id=2392). However, it's £450 for jsut a CD player so you don't get many toys on it.

The best of the "normal" headunits is probably Alpine. These give excellent quality and are more affordable as well as having more buttons (http://www.caraudiodirect.co.uk/product ... ts_id=2193).

Next down I'd go for Kenwood, but you're also in the realsm of Panasoinc, JVC, Sony etc.
