Hi im going to be upgrading my 106 to a 2.0 SE CC. Is it possible to switch my Alpine Head unit to the 206? ive read the posts about only being able to use a Sony unit with the Stalk...but can i get an adaptor for the Alpine unit???
Also...do i need some kind of 'key' to get the standard Clarion head unit out?
Any help is much appreciated...as you can probably notice im a bit of noobie to alla this :?

The Alpine unit will physically fit in fine and will plug in to the original connectors.

However, you won't be able to use the stalk or the dashboard display and I don't think there are any adapters out there.

You may also need to do some slight wiring mods so that the ignition power works and the illumination dimming works.

Forgot to mention - your Pug dealer may take the radio out for you if they're feeling generous. Alternatively, insert four straight bits of solid wire (very small screwdrivers or metal coathangers do the job!) into the four holes on the front. Push them in quite hard so they click a bit. Then push them all to the centre of the radio and pull the headunit out. I did it in my normal 206 the other day and it only took a few mins to take it out.

Also depends if your CC has multiplex wiring doesn't it?

I think you might be able to get Alpine adaptors now...
