Noticed something really odd today, I went to unlock the car and when i pressed the button on the remote, the car horn sounded by itself. I had to press one of the horn buttons on the steering wheel to silence it. :?

Luckily i was taking the car in to peugeot anyway because of a leaky roof, they didnt believe me when i told them about the horn.

Has anybody else experienced this problem with the horn?

Yes - it means that the alarm couldn't arm itself. Make sure the the bonnet, boot, doors etc are all closed. If it does this again then do not leave the car as it probably won't be locked/alarmed!!!

Nah, that's different - ask Julia about it :P

This is something else, although it *may* be related. The horn should only beep once, not continuously.

The horn has been sorted now apparently. Peugeot had to replace some 'clips' underneath the airbag.

They could've cleaned the steering wheel after they done it grrr :x

I had the exact same problem with my car today. As I pressed the unlock button on my remote the horn sounded and wouldn't stop till i press the horn button on the steering wheel. Also when I started my car the radio volume up button was 'pressed' in and made my radio blast at full volume, and my change channel roller on my radio remote wouldn't work for the next ten minutes.

This must be some kind of electrical problem!!!

Has anybody managed to pin point the problem yet?
