Hi, just got my new 206 CC 2.0 - what a great car. I have read all the stuff about fixing the seals etc but my passenger side by the roof (where you lock/unlock) is vey noisy. The left hand side is fine.

Is this usual???

PS Thanks to everyone for hwat is a great site!!

My car is in the workshop for that same problem along with the leaking. I was supposed to get it back on Friday, but the dealers are not happy with it so have kept it in.

I will let you know what happens

Try using a specialist rubber lubricant which you can apply with a cloth (available from large auto-accessories chains eg Halfords). This will stop any squeaking.

Also you may find it helps if you close both roof catches at the same time. I used to find that the one I closed first was always noisy. Now I have no such problems.
