I am 1 really fed up bunny and I hate to say it, but i loath my 206cc at the moment. It has just been problem after problem and I feel like my car is falling apart! First major problem 2 months into owning my car, my handbrake went loose when I was parked on a hill and ran down the hill into a metal fence, pug admitted there was a problem with the handbreak but wouldnt pay for any damages to my car (which were quite considerable). Second problem my indicator stick broke and wouldnt indicate. Next problem, I have an ongoing rattle on the left hand side of my car in the roof, next problem, my drivers door doesnt shut properly, everytime you try to shut it, it either doesnt shut, or it shuts and then 'clunks' and pops outwards so the door isnt shut, and the latest problem this morning I had similar to an earlier posting by another member in November, my passenger seat got stuck in the reclined backwards position, whilst trying to fix it the seat came loose from its railings and just slides back and forth, so I am 100 miles away from home visiting friends with my partner and no passenger seat, an uncomfortable ride home in the tiny seats is coming I fear.. do I feel better now I've moan... no!!!!

:( Some 206cc's are just bad eggs. Best bet is to tell your dealer that you're rejecting it and make them take it back and provide a brand new one. If they cause problems then mention "Trading Standards" to them.

In my experience, they don't give a damn about Trading Standards, Autoexpress or Watchdog!!!!!!!!!! :(

But I got legal advice, which was very helpful. :)

I am going to phone up tomorrow and book it into Peugeot with my list of problems on a bit of paper. Going to have it for one last summer and then exchange it or something German built I think. Trying to decide between a Audi A3 or a Mini Cooper S.. any other opinions on nice sturdy cars welcome!!!
