Its worse on the front windscreen when ever its damp outside, and even if i get in the car and its clear, it soon steams up when im sat in it for a while till the engine gets warm! Ive had the car about 6 months and havent noticed any leaks yet! Does any 1 have any advise?

I've had my 2.0SE CC almost 3 weeks, and mostly use the ECO setting rather than aircon. A mate of mine who works for another car company recommends switching the aircon off about 10 minutes before the end of your journey because the problem is caused by the increased moisture level of air coming through the vents from the aircon (water cooled) system. Running without gives a chance for drier air to come through, apparently.
However, I mostly use the ECO setting and every morning, it takes a good five or six minutes with the blower on full blast to get the inside of the windscreen clear. And it is actually ice, just rubbing it with a chamois sponge doesn't clear it.
Surely I don't have a leak in a car less than a month old? And it's hardly rained so how much moisture could have got in?
As an aside, does anyone else with a 2.0 experience a change in engine note at about 2,750 revs? It goes quite "rorty" and then fades away again after 3,000 revs. Very curious. Was talking on hands free to a friend today, and he could even hear it down the phone! Hope it's normal.

off topic but your change in engine noise at the revs you mention is likely to mean you need the manifold replaced. i've had mine done earlier in the year but need it done again.
as for the ice - it's been cold but i haven't had that problem

I have a 3 month old 2 Litre Allure and have also noticed a change in rev tone recently - at one point i thought that my exhaust was blowing as its a similar sound - I can even hear it when the CD Player is on and I do play it loud!!
Also I have noticed that when I change gear sometimes the revs appear to increase when I remove my foot off the accelerator and depress the clutch. Hope it doesnt mean other day in the garage - Its been in 3 times already for different things!!!!

I have always used automatic air con (21,5celsius). Even if outside is -20celsius, i have never had problems about moisture inside. Once i tried eco-mode (last winter), then i got moisture inside glass...
When you use your automatic air con, you have always "dry" cabin.
My brother has a new Sonata and he's got very big problems about moisture inside. He doesn't own an automatic air con, so he try's to use normal air con to dry the cabin. That's very odd when outside is -20celsius
