This is a great ad for 206cc keyrings. The dealers must wonder what on earth is going on ;)

Which means that they must actually be worth more than £1.40 or whatever it is at the moment. Might not justify fifteen quid, but.... ;)

Funny how you now say I was bang out of order, when you were joking about it when you first read the thread!
I was joking about what? i think perhaps you should re-read the thread to ensure you're not confusing me with someone else! :D
The likelihood of a dealer offering that amount of money is non-existant, so its a silly analogy!

Not a silly analogy at all. We are talking about people offering 10 times the dealership retail price, which is fairly absurd in its self.

If you would like a more realistic situation:

You buy a one bedroom flat for £28,000
You are offered £45,000 for the flat, which you accept.
I overhear the buyer offering the money, and tell them that they should knock £5,000 for works that i can see the building needs - your buyer now either cuts £5k off your profit, or refuses to buy the property. Worst of all, i publicly announce that i will tell all future buyers the same.

Just as out of order as what you did ;) :?:  At the end of the day without wanting to seem like i'm have a go at ya, my opinion is that it was none of your business and i dont agree with what you did.

Right...................so why were you encouraging me at the beginning of the thread?

E-Bay Some nugget has bid £21 + £3P&P!!!- got to hand it to the seller though, although a complete rip off merchant he's making cash! (Cunning protecting the bidders identities so we can't contact them!)

Just a thought (I won't do it as i've been kicked off ebay once already!!) But register bid high and then not send payment. BUT you do get chance to leave feedback saying he's a fleecing money garbbing varmit!!
