I was gonna see about getting these replicated, and sell them at around the £80 mark, but it seems lots of people already have them, so there wont be enough guaranteed sales to make it worth the initial outlay
I noticed on ebay if you click on 206 items available to the uk, there are people in france and german that are seling these hoops for around 65 Euro's, which after postage would mean £65 or less.
It may be a be long winded but its so much cheaper than ecosse and the other deals around.
I have tried buying stuff from Germany before....a scale model of a 206cc...but lost the money and never received the model....
The trouble appeared to be that the seller stated he would accept a cheque drawn in Euros and when it came down to it his bank wanted to charge him another 15 Euros to pay it in...he asked me for the extra money - I refused, asked for the cheque back and he banked the cheque anyway
I know its only one seller but it put me off a bit....
i can't do anything with hoops the now as it's christmas and that means i'm far too busy at work.
just be careful on ebay with hoops. a checked outside uk ebay auctions not too long ago and hoops the same as i supply were very similarily priced. i did notice different type of hoops appearing from as little as £50+ but when you look at what you are getting then it's all they are worth.
if there was enough interest then i would contact ecosse to see what supply is like. e-mail pughoops@aol.com i think the price after the last increase was around £150 incl p&p.
