Something I have been wondering....Does anyone know why so many of the CC items on EBay are from Germany? And why Germans dont seem to take PayPal?

After the reports I've heard, I won't be going anywhere near Paypal. Maybe that's why...

Paypal seems to be good for buyers, but not for sellers.
I've used it a few times to buy stuff- no problem, but the first time I tried to use it to sell, the buyer paid by credit card through paypal, and as I only had a free paypal account it would not accept the transaction unless I upgraded my account and paid the associated fees. The fees they ask for would wipe out any profits made from low-key selling.
So unless selling stuff on e-bay is your main income it's no good.
