Hello people,

Long time since I've been in here!
Nice to catch up on some new threads and see whats been happening.

One of the reasons I came back in was becuase I started having problems with my car

We decided to go to ASDA last night. Started the engine and a message popped up reading "Catilic Converter Fault" Dammit! (just washed the car too).

I spoke to Peugeot Assistance (very helpful people) and they said only drive local distances over the weekend and we will toe it to your nearest garage on Monday.

So we went to ASDA (only up the road init!), got back in the car after doing the shopping and low and behold another message popped up on the display!! "Anti Pollution Fault" !

Anyway, got a replacement car today (arrange by Peugeot Assist) for the weekend (Soton - Bmth) work. I'll say it again, Peugeot Assistance are very good.

Laters,

Chris. :)

Needs a software upgrade to the trip computer, mine did the same, and that fixed it nicely!

umm.. I suspect that maybe the coil has gone poof. Find out Monday, hopefully.

I'll ask them to check the software version too. Cheers.

:D

Picked the car up this evening. They said the software needed updating, which then cleared the messages.

I'm delighted to have the car back again but it still doesn't seem right?!
I mean, the car complains of a problem, so...update the software? What about investigating 'the' problem?! if any.

I dunno, anyway, I'm back on the road.

:)

Laters,

Yeah, I can see what you mean - do they actually check that there wasn't an airbag or immobiliser fault?! I wonder...
