guys and girls,
over the last 2 years i have been using this forum and have made some great new friends, I feel that now that you have all got to know me that I can finally come out and tell you something which I have been meaning to say for soo long. It's been difficult living this lie, but I feal that i can finally tell you and I only hope that I can have your support in these times when i need my friends support.
Its come as a great shock to me recenlty but these last few months i have been going to places at the weekend where i can really be me, and be with others who i feel comforatable with. I go to these places and I can finally wear the clothes that I know make me feel special. To wear brown cords and a tweed jacket with leather patches just makes me feel so special. you see my friends, I have to admit to you all I am .... OLD.
It all started a while back, i picked up a copy of caravaners weekly rahter than max power and although initally repulles an strange fasination came over me and I was unable to put it down. Since then things have been getting worse and to the point where i finally had to come clean.
please i value all your friendship in these hard tims ahead.
Annoucment ...

I gave in this year Paul too, when me & david first got together we listened to the funniest radio programme ever by maureen lipman, she was talking to people about the joys of caravanning. We laughed all the way through it. I said then if I ever mentioned that I wanted a caravan he could shoot me, I never want to become a member of the camping and caravanning club talking about their added extras and what model caravans they have. Well I had enough of camping after a few very cold weekend and bought a van. I will be wearing lounge suits soon with nice embroidery

Uggh, neither does it sound like mine, the only problem I had with caravans was fly hibernation in seals etc come autumn time.Does not sound like my caravan, I don't do spiders eitherCaravans = camping = nasty toilets = communal showers = no comfy bed = sleeping on floor = spiders = aaaagggggghhhhhhh!!
It all comes back to the nasty little eight legged buggers somehow.![]()

My posts are becoming very few and far between nowadays, but I thought I couldn't let this moment pass without offering my best wishes to Paul through these difficult times he is facing.
He has my support as a friend and he knows where I am if he wishes to talk man to man about his problem. I can hopefully offer him advice and tips on how to deal with this most troubling of issues.
You see, my friends, I am the same age as Paul...the difference is I have been through my mid-life crisis and come out the other side. I am living proof that it can be done. Yes, there are scars and I won't lie and tell you it is pain-free. But life is a rich tapestry of experiences and the important thing is to enjoy it while you can. After all, your life is only on loan and one day there will come a day when it needs to be returned.
All the very best, Paul.
And to the rest of you :wave
