Right I'll kick off.

Jumped into mine last week with a pair of scissors in my back pocket.

Yup, the result was predictable, a slashed leather seat and a £550 repair bill.

Still thumping myself for being such an ass. :?

Drove down a ropey farm track (Don't ask) came back minus exhaust but didn't realise for 2 days, was really impressed that it sounded pretty mean when I was driving...... Ah, the days of owning a mini!

My uncle brought a 3 yr old honda legend, his dream car. Took it into a specialist garage (he own's his own) to have the air conditioning topped up. The mechanic put his foot on the accellrator to rev the engine, the car was in reserve and smashed into one of the door supports writing the car off  He had only driven it to his garage, left it there over night, then drove to have the air con sorted :?

I forgot about an unopened can of coke in a previous car on a scorching day. Came back to a very sticky car as it had exploded everywhere - velour seats too!

Although, I was thankful it hadn't happened when i'd been driving.

Not quite the same but i had a sticky smell boot in my 206 hatch after doing a boat run, cornering too quickly and having a collision between a pineapple sticky drink and a bottle of jack daniels. By the time i realised it had all totally soaked into my boot

I once had a milk carton leak all over the boot of my 306, what a revolting smell when the car was warm, it took ages to get rid of it too!

:yuck:

I was with my girlfriend in cornwall and drove into a car park near gwithian beach while looking for <polite cough> a secluded spot. I saw another set of tracks leading out of the carpark and thought they would get us closer to the beach so I followed them .... off the edge of a sand dune. Luckily I was in a jeep and it did get back up after a couple of goes. Turns out it was the track the lifeguards ride their quad bikes down to get to the beach. Doh!

Are you missing a full stop there?

Ha ha! I know exactly where that track is! :rotfl:
Just because you're paranoid, it don't mean they're not after you.

Years ago was coming home from the snow in my Mitsubishi Scorpion. Huge queue at the petrol station, but saw a pump and made a dash for it. Happily filling away and an attendant came to me and said "are you sure you want to put that in your car?" - DIESEL!!!! Proceeded to syphon the tank, pay for the dieesel, pay for a tank of unleaded. Blew blue smoke for a while after that. Very embarassing - even after all this time.
Cheers
