Help me I'm a little confused (understatment of the year)..Correct me if I'm wrong 2003 models come with the round lights and colour coded.

So how comes I see '03s &'53s with black side rubbings and the old style lights or a combination of the both. I thought maybe something to do with the two models 1.6 and a 2.0 but the same differences!!

So why? Is there a back log of cars that they are trying to get rid of?

Hope those who have the old lights and rubbings got a v.good discount?

:? :? :?

It's not all 2003's that have the new lights and are colour coded. Mine is a 53 with the above :D , but most (if not all) 03's i've seen have old lights and black rubbings. I don't know what date the facelift models started.
Nothing to do with engine size either.

Not unusual for a 'special edition' to be released at a similar time to a facelift, as it allows the dealers to discount older, pre-facelift models ;)

I Picked mine up on the 31st of July on the 03 plate, all bumbers and rubbing strips are colour coded and it has the upgraded rear light clusters.

The car supermarket which is next to the pug dealers has just started importing the new models.
Agean Blue 2.0 SE, Colour Coded Bumpers And Rubbing Strips, Lexus Lights, Sports Grille, Chrome Hoops.
