I've heard a rumour that the 206cc now comes in Burgundy? Cant find anything about it on the Pug UK or France website.

Any ideas?

when you say burgandy would it be babylon red ? it looks a deeper red and is the special paint which costs £400 against £300 for metallic. it was one of my choices so please clarify :D

There was the dark metallic red, like the one on the trailers for C4 (or c5???) for films "sponsored by Pug 206cc"... When I bought mine (nearly 2 years ago, must be coming up to time to change!), that was only available in Europe so you could only get them in the UK from importers and supermarkets. Don't know if that's changed?

burgundy sort of looks like a colour of an aubergine!

Babylon red is a 307cc colour, maybe the rumour got the wrong cc?

I have a Diablo Red CC. The Allure model.
This colour has been out ages, (my first GLX in 2001 was Diablo Red) but I have not seen any other CC's in this colour.

There are 3 or 4 Diablo Red (Burgandy) CC's in Swindon now..

See http://www.peugeot206cc.co.uk/owners/376.html to see a diablo CC

diablo red is not burgandy. i had a 106 in this colour and is red more than anything.

mulberry is the purple CC and is purple, nothing esle. was thinking about this but could be a bit like the green CC where not everyone likes it and it may be ahrder to sell on.

for a 307CC i was thinking of babylon red, mulberry or aegean blue. augean blue is getting very common now in the 206 range so could be babylon red.

I also had a diablo red car, my 306, but it was definately red, just a dark red, certainly not burgundy.

I dont think the mulberry in the 307cc is a dark enough purple! But thats just MHO!

Depending on where the 'burgundy' rumour came from, I think they could mean the Diablo red. Compared with the bright cherry red, I suppose some people would say it's burgundy.
