Yes, i've heard that same comment - I don't necessarily agree, but i'm a girlie so don't really mind. I've also heard it's a hairdressers car

But don't they say that about all convertible versions of 'sensible' cars (by that I mean excluding MR2, MX5, etc)?

If you like the 206CC then buy one - sod what anybody else thinks.

Had mine 4 months now and love every minute of it

If anyone says you drive a girly car then make sure they dont own a:

Ford Ka
Ford Fiesta
Saxo
New MR2
MX5
cinquetentio (chunka chocolate thingy)
Cuore
Anything ORANGE

Corsa

or any of the other cars out there that are really girly

By the way i've been driving round in a 3.2 litre Jag automatic for the last little while, and now no-one says i drive a girly car - they say i drive an OLD MAN'S CAR!!!

I meant the MR2 and MX5, etc seem to be excluded from the 'hairdresser's car' accusation.

I think the rest of the cars in your list are more 'sensible lady' than 'girlie' cars

They thankfully don't come with the option of factory graphics down the side so I think that this would exclude the CC from the category of girlie car.

I don't give a toss what everyone else thinks anyway, i like my cars. i had one guy come up to me at a petrol station and say that the thinks my CC is ugly and he go out of a 1980's ford falcon with a rag for a petrol cap!! redneck!

Sounds like jealousy to me!

Someone told me in a supermarket car park that they thought I had a nice car. Very nice in fact!

People say my car goes from 0 to Hair Salon in 10 seconds. Someone in a w*nk tank (Vauxhall Meriva) pulled up and sang THAT Gay bar tune when I was driving with the roof down. I responded by saying is your car called Herbie. Is it gonna split in two if you put your foot down.

People say my car goes from 0 to Hair Salon in 10 seconds. Someone in a w*nk tank (Vauxhall Meriva) pulled up and sang THAT Gay bar tune when I was driving with the roof down. I responded by saying is your car called Herbie. Is it gonna split in two if you put your foot down.

Where do you guys live? getting abused by strangers for the car you drive. I never had anything but admiring stares and good comments such as "Nice car mate!" "Wow!" "Where did you get ya alloys, lights, hoops!" etc etc although one kid did ask me one time "Excuse me sir, are you german like!" Don't ask me why, those that have met me know that i don't look like a german!!
