I haven't played a PC game for months now but is it only me whose spent a sad but enjoyable night playing medal of honour allied assault game on the PC?

I marvel at the rich tapestry of colours in scenes from graphics produced by my now quite ordinary G-Force 3 TI 500 64 mb Video card.

When damn! At 04.37am this morning I get to the 6th and apparently last mission - return to Schmerzen and thats it, a black screen with "THE END" comes up and credits role.

But what about flying planes that I was promised would be fun by forum members? These all have failed to materialise.

I put in MOHAA disc 2 in the hope that its only half a game I've finished but to no avail, clicking on the short cut icon in desk top only brings up missions 1 - 6 which I already completed. I even loaded it again in case I made a mistake the first time round, sadly no help either.

Is it really the end, have I really been dealt a cruel hand or is there more?

(Mind you I've still got the PC version of Halo to load that I bought the other day and also Freelander so all is not quite lost - role on half-life 2 & Doom III).

halo you will struggle to get a decent performance out of ...... it's a BRILLIANT game, but in my config (athlon xp 2400+, 1 gb or ddr ram, gf 4 ti 4600, the most powerful of gf4s, sb audigy) i had to go back playing it on 800x600 and reduced effects to get decent framerate (!!!!!) I've only played only a few missions up to now, but it feels really GOOD. I found MOHAA extremely entertaining, varied and with brilliant set pieces, and I'm fairly sure there was more than six missions! (it took me a while to finish it, maybe coz I always play games on the hardest defficulty setting). I suggest you to start Halo on the hardest diff setting, as the AI get better @ every setting, it's not just more and more accurate enemies.... also can I suggest you Tron 2.0, especially if you liked the film in the '80s.
watch out for max payne 2 out on friday and call of duty out beginning of november

I think that's your lot, 6 missions over and out. :(

The Spearhead expansion is good too, but short. :( More stuff to take control of though.

I'm off to get the Breakthrough expansion later. I've heard that's also short, but I don't care! ;)
Just because you're paranoid, it don't mean they're not after you.
