i live 12 miles from bo'ness ewin, or ecosse as i call it :D

i probably will get one but as the 180 won't arrive until end of december, early january i would get it on 1st march.

there's a lama leather which is kind of grey so that will probably be what i'll go for and maybe in the special paint (red).

was gonna go and look at the rx-8 today but family committments ruled this out so i will wait and see. 307CC looks like top of list the now. nissan 350z is nice but i don't think the 2 seater idea would be practical for me.

Lyndon, It was p*ssing down last night and bloody freezing. Maybe today
Derek, first impression, if you felt the car was a tad below power, I wonder what the Megane would be like, 1.6 option or 1.8? I doubt it is much lighter.
As to the Jap choices, I confess to being biased - my old man was in Burma and not a lot of love passed between them :!:

Give Bo'ness my love, I used to live on the Bo'ness Road in Grangemouth when I was a nipper - house called Cliveden. :)
PS what happened to your avatar, little black boxes are all I see this am :?:

i couldn't imagine the 307CC with a 1.6 engine. i think you would need to tow it around :)

First 200 miles completed, combined Motorway and Urban driving.
Power is adequate, 180 will obviously have that bit of extra oomph.
After last night's torrential rain I can safely say NO LEAKS :!:
Roof down tomorrow :?:
I wish :D
I will do a report after 1,000 miles. Should have had a good shake down by then and will be in about a week :!: :!: :!:

The look of the beasty.
For info mine is Slate Grey, sort of greenish and dark. Having seen the Aluminium one yesterday I had a comparison.
I think a lot of the "Overall look" as to shape is clouded by the colour, I have had two 206cc in Platinum and loved the colour, the 307cc in the same colour doesn't work for me at all. Maybe it's the unrelenting silverness, at least with the 206 there was a bit of black to break up the mono tone.
Just a personal thing but maybe it's just that being that much bigger it looks better darker?
