Has anyone experienced any severe banging of the door/window when the roof is down?
The passenger side window sometimes bangs so hard when I go over a bump that i think it will shatter one day.
The car is only 5 weeks old and has been back in to the garage for this problem to be solved once already, but it is still as bad.
Also the roof catch to the drivers side rattles so much that I have to have the CD on loud to drown it out.

Yep, our driver's side rear window rattles alarmingly when it's down.
When you lower the rear driver's side window, hold the top of the window that protrudes from the body and wiggle it. It knocks against something metal inside. This happens when driving and I think it could damage the glass. I figure if you tap glass on metal, the glass will eventually break.
Do the same to the window on the other side and it won't move at all when you wiggle it.
Probably related to this, we've noticed a couple of times on closing the driver's side windows that the front window has gone up without the rear being fully closed. The front window should not go up until the rear is fully up. I'm sure that this is because the rear window needs tightening up. At the moment it's loose and when it shuts it's coming up under the seal rather than alongside it. The sensors think the window is up and switch power to the front window. So in theory tightening up the glass should sort both problems. After all, the passenger side won't move at all when you wiggle it.
Di took it in last week and they said it wasn't rattling. I don't think they tried lowering the glass! So now it's going off to the Monkeys a second time for them to sort it out.
And to replace the roof operation switch because the black paint is flaking off- which they were fine about!! Even though it works fine! There's no working them out! And to put on non squeaker brake pads which they were supposed to do but just 'lubricated something' instead.
Grrrr. Feckin
