We had the 'free' 6 month service on our cc on Oct 2nd.
Probably the reason it's free is that they did eff all!

Prior to the service we notified them of what needed doing:

Brake pads- exchange for non squeakers under warranty, part no: 4252.76

Rattling driver's side rear window. Also sometimes does not close fully before door glass goes up.

Seat runners don't lock properly after putting them forward to let someone
in the back. They clunk into place the next time you brake. Replace with new design seat rail. If there is one.
Is there one anybody?

Roof switch: Paint flaking off- Replace.

Paint bubble (Looks like a rust bubble) of leading edge of drivers door.

Software upgrade: If available

Auto volume: Increase if possible

Di took it in to the local dealership. OK, so the last 2 aren't really important, but for the first 5 the did the following-

Brakes: Lubricated mechanism i.e. Did sod all. Of course, still squeaking.

Seat rails: Lubricated mechanism i.e. Did sod all. Of course, still clunking.

Roof switch: ordered a new one!!!! Can you believe that! They won't fix something that needs fixing but will replace something that doesn't!

Rear window doesn't rattle (they didn't test it with window down ) and told if they don't close properly then put 'em down and then put 'em back up again.
That's what you do on an old car, not a brand effin new one! :firedevil:

Paint bubble: Car was wet, bring it back when it is dry!!

So I flipped out when I was told and today it's gone back.
Brake pads are in. (I marked the ones on the car with Tippex to see if they actually do swap 'em.)
Roof switch is in.
Well behaved cc got it's rear window partially closed right on cue. and wouldn't close properly on second attempt either. Strangely we are happy about that! :rotfl:
Paint bubble seen by :mfight:

So we'll see how it goes...

We love our cc, even with the little glitches. But do we like :monkey: :monkey: ?
Do we not like :monkey: :monkey:.
Just because you're paranoid, it don't mean they're not after you.

OK, update.

On Thursday the :monkey: :monkey: :
Replaced the roof switch.
Replaced the brake pads ON THE FRONT ONLY!
Took a quote for the paint bubble. Awaiting response from Peugeot to see which course of action to take.
Investigated the window rattle. Needs to be stripped down and realigned.

We needed the cc on the Friday, so once Peugeot havbe made up their minds on the paint bubble it has to go back to visit number 3 for:
Window/roof realignment.
Brake pads on rear.
Paint bubble rectification.

So it'll all be all fixed up ready for some winter motoring!

I had a paint bubble on the bonnet and paint flaking from one of the two "parts" on the boot lid and I didn't need them to make up their mind! It was a fault and I demnded them to sort it, end of story........they did

They are definitely sorting it, they are just making their mind up how to do it- i.e. new door or investigte the bubble.

the guy @ the bodyshop said that if they sort it otherwise than repainting it all from scratches, most probably the bubble will come back, possibly somewhere else
